Not sure if Dumoulin's game could translate to the NHL at the present moment but it couldn't possibly be much worse than what Scuderi is throwing out there on a nightly basis.

I believe they had the youngest roster in the AHL. Best of five is tough for a young team.

This was just a terrible season altogether, between losing Alfie, the Sens sucking, The emergence of serious money issues with the ownership, the talk of Spezza leaving now because we don't have the window we thought we might to compete, and now the prospects are underachieving.

That, plus I have literally no interest in seeing any of the remaining teams win the cup.

Minny might be nice to see, but have no shot.

Montreal is the douchiest roster in the league.

LA, PIT, ANA, CHI, BOS have all won cups already in the last 7 years.

New York, perhaps, would be a team I wouldn't mind seeing. I'd watch Henrik win one finally.

For all the talk about parity, seems like every year after the first round ends its the same teams having success, for the most part.

Bahhhh. When does football start?

There was some very good news over the past week. Bettman announced the cap was coming down from the earlier projections for next year and would likely come in at around $69m. The revised downward projection is entirely attributable to the changes in the value of the looney. Also means a further leveling of cap in subsequent years.

This is particularularly good news for the Senators. Murray predicted at the trade deadline that there would be some very big players available this summer as a result of cap pressures. Cap space is golden and some teams will need to make strong moves to offload big cap hits in order to stay cap compliant.

The #1goaltender Lawson was injured. I'd say that was the biggest reason, even though I didn't get to see the games. 3 goals on 23 shots and 4 goals on 19 shots is not good.
